Audience: If you have lost your sense of direction, feel stressed and unhappy, are dealing with the after effects of a traumatic event, are seeking support to help kick an addiction, struggling to cope  with chronic pain, want to make sense of your grief- these are all issues clients have brought to Chrysalis. Labels are not part of my work with people. My services are designed for individual adults and periodically for small groups through workshops.

Chrysalis Body/Mind offers yoga inspired
movement, mindfulness practices, creative engagement  and nature immersion along with traditional counseling approaches to help people find their balanced center. Clients can chose a specific modality from the practice  offerings as their focus in consultation with the therapist.

The Work: I provide opportunities for clients to identify their embodied emotions, to use that knowing as a means of engaging with their truth and finding their authentic self. By slowing and focusing, thoughts become quieter and truth is revealed. Wise action flows from a clearer center. Relationships gradually improve, and contentment and inner peace arise.

Approach: Presence is key for healing. It is experienced in therapeutic relationships. Trust is inspired in each meeting, and clarity emerges in an atmosphere of non judgement.

Chrysalis (definition)- a safe but temporary abode where transformation can occur.
