I earned a Ph.D. in Psychology from the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology; Palo Alto, California . My dissertation explored the psychospiritual transformation of mid-life women who thru-hiked over 2,000 miles on the Appalachian Trail. I teach yoga, meditation, and stress reduction at an area college where I’ve been a counselor for over a decade. My professional experience includes 8 years of private counseling practice. I am a certified Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. With a lifelong love of wilderness, my free time is spent walking, hiking, skiing, and taking photographs. Nature is a partner in my healing practice.
