I am not a teacher, but an awakener-- Robert Frost |

Close your eyes and breathe; listen to your breath. Take time to be present to its rhythm. Now take a deep breath and let it out with a sigh. Begin to imagine yourself walking in a garden or meadow. Tune in with all your senses. See the colors spread out before you; smell the grasses and flowers around your feet . Sense the caress of the wind and the sunlight on your skin. Feel your connection to the ground as your feet move slowly along the path. There are butterflies moving about with the breeze, their wings displaying beauty and freedom. Let your heart soften and open . Experience connection. Every butterfly began its life as a humble caterpillar. When the time was right, it formed a chrysalis and crawled inside. Slowly its old self dissolved to be reformed— transformed into a new being. This process is a metaphor for the transformative journey of the spirit. Nature mirrors the workings of the psyche and the soul. We are kin to the trees, the mountains, and the oceans. The wisdom for life’s journey can be discerned by contemplating the natural world, the one we have not made. Transformation can occur when we let go of what no longer serves us. The process begins to unfold when we slow down, step back, and spend time in reflection. Let yourself be truly present and open to a new way of seeing. The psyche benefits from a secure abode for its transformation. Chrysalis therapy and workshops are designed to be a catalyst, inviting attunement to your true nature and to the world that holds us all. |
